The first version of this collection was created using recycled aprons generously donated by the Kaaitheater in Brussels. By giving new life to these discarded materials, the project explored the creative potential of upcycling while transforming everyday workwear into unique wearable pieces.
Over time, many artists borrowed garments from the collection for music videos, live performances, photoshoots, and parties. Seeing the pieces worn in such different creative contexts gave the collection a life far beyond its original purpose and highlighted its versatility.
We also had the opportunity to collaborate with several talented photographers, each bringing their own artistic vision to the collection. Through these different perspectives, the garments were captured in a variety of settings and styles, creating a rich visual archive that reflects the evolving identity of the project.
